This division's major job is to help ensure that waste water is carried away efficiently from homes and other properties in the township without causing any health hazards. Its operations are funded by an annual sewer rent paid by property owners connected to the sanitary sewer system; the sewer rent are based on water usage from the previous year.

• Assisting RHM Authority consulting engineers and work crews in identifying and sealing major sources in sewage pipes
• Installing manhole domes in low-lying manholes to prevent infiltration of water
• Maintaining our pumping stations - at significant savings
