Radnor250 is our local, nonpartisan committee serving to engage all residents in the America250 anniversary. We aim to create and promote experiences, now through 2026, that ignite imaginations and highlight 250 years of American history through Radnor’s unique lens. In Radnor Township, America’s 250th anniversary isn't just a party thrown for us by Delaware County, we envision a party thrown by us, for us! Radnor Township America250 Fireworks Display at Radnor High School · Thursday, 2 July 2026 @ Dusk

For the first time in years, fireworks are back under the skies of Wayne! We are celebrating the historic America250 holiday weekend with a massive patriotic celebration, and you are officially invited!

Bring your blankets & lawn chairs to Encke Field or any of the designated viewing areas at Radnor High School for an epic 20-minute firework show plus an encore. Let’s light up the sky together! 

When: Thursday, July 2, 2026

Time: Gates open at 6:30pm, Show starts at Dusk/9:00pm

9:00pm Where: Radnor High School (130 Radnor-Chester Rd., Wayne)

Admission: FREE

Parking: Free parking at RHS is first come, first served until full.

Please DO NOT park at PENN MEDICINE as they will be treating patients Thursday evening. Most local businesses are honoring a good neighbor policy & allowing event parking.

Please note there will be no spectator seating in Prevost Stadium or The Nest. The show flies 600 feet high so you won’t miss a thing from surrounding fields and lots!

No alcohol, tobacco, firearms, personal fireworks permitted, including sparklers, on RHS campus.

77th Annual Garrett Hill - Rosemont July 4th Parade · Saturday, 4 July 2026 @ 9:30 AM (Rain or Shine) The Garrett Hill-Rosemont 4th of July Committee is once again inviting all children and families to decorate bikes and floats to ride in the parade.  We hope to see your RED, WHITE, and BLUE.  Registration is at Rosemont Business Campus at 9:30 am and Judging begins at 10 AM.

America250 Mural Honoring Historic Radnor Township · 

Radnor Township, in partnership with Main Line Mural Arts and local artist Dan Scott, is proud to announce the completion of its commemorative public mural in downtown Wayne. Serving as the visual centerpiece for the local America250 celebrations, the sprawling masterpiece marks the first public art installation of its scale in Radnor history.

The dedication of the commemorative America250 mural on Friday, July 10, 2026, honored community partners, visionaries and artists who brought this monumental public art piece to life. Located on the exterior commercial wall of At the Table restaurant, located at 118 W. Lancaster Avenue., the mural was partially funded through a generous public arts grant from the Lau Longsworth Charitable Fund. The project brings local history directly to the sidewalks of downtown Wayne.

"This project is the crown jewel of our community’s America250 milestone," said Molly Gallagher, Radnor Township Public Information Officer. "Through vibrant color and intricate storytelling, Dan Scott has beautifully woven together where we came from and who we are today. We want this to foster deep community pride for residents and visitors alike."

Designed and hand-painted by local Berwyn-based artist and musician Dan Scott (known online as @danscottforreal), the mural acts as a visual timeline. It chronicles Radnor’s rich local heritage, mapping its story from early pastoral origins, through the advent of the railroad, to its current bustling suburban landscape and iconic Wayne skyline. The piece also captures crucial local landmarks, including historic design references to the Old Conestoga Road and the Ardrossan Estate.

“When we were first approached about hosting the America250 mural, we were honored to be considered. As business owners, we believe it’s important to support projects that bring people together and celebrate our shared history,” said Tara Buzan-Hardy and Alex Hardy, owners of At the Table. “Seeing the finished mural for the first time was incredible – it has brought new energy and beauty to our building and we’re proud to play a small part in commemorating this historic milestone for our country and community.”

Main Line Mural Arts, a regional 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting local artists, spearheaded the selection process and will ensure the preservation and maintenance of the wall over its expected 10-to-15-year lifespan.

“Public art has a unique power to ground us in our shared history while pointing toward our future," said Stacey Ballard, Founder & Board President Main Line Mural Arts. "By partnering with Radnor Township for America250, we wanted to give Wayne a lasting visual legacy.”

The mural completion joins a robust summer lineup of Semiquincentennial festivities coordinated across Delaware County, which recently included town-wide red, white, and blue light displays for Light to Unite, customized America250 public banners, and a community fireworks spectacular over the Independence Weekend.
