Informational Notice: Unity In Our Community - Saturday August 23, 2025
The 7th Annual Unity In Our Community Event will take place along Highland Avenue in Wayne from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 24th (rain date: Sunday August 24th). This FREE event is open to the entire Radnor Township community and provides an opportunity to join together and celebrate the end of summer with interaction and entertainment! Join us for a fun event filled with food and refreshments, games and crafts for children and teens, music, dance performances, and other exciting activities led by members of the community, the Radnor Police Department, and Radnor Fire Company.
Attention Residents - Impacts on Traffic & Parking - from 7:30 AM to approximately 5:00 PM. See map below and call with questions - Tammy Cohen 610-989-3953. Road Closure on Highland Avenue AND Highland Homes Parking Lot Closure.
- Highland Avenue will be closed between Federal Street and Church Street/Highland Court For all residents impacted by the Highland Avenue closure - if you plan to leave your home during the event, please move your vehicle ahead of the event to one of the identified parking locations on Friday.
- The Highland Homes Parking Lot identified on the map below will be closed for activities due to the extra space that is needed for the event. If you park in the Highland Homes parking lot, we are asking that you move your car ahead of the event to one of the identified parking locations on Friday so that the lot is clear for Saturday morning for when event staff are setting up.
Parking locations where you can park include Odorisio Park at West Wayne Avenue Parking Lot, Church Street (limited parking), Friends of Radnor Trails Park, Wayne Art Center, and any available on-street parking that is not within the event area.

Due to the purposes of traffic, safety, and activity in and around Highland Avenue and Odorisio Park, we are providing notice about this upcoming event. The Radnor Township Police Department will be providing safety support for the event. There will also be an increased amount of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the area. We are asking all members of the community to please use extra caution when traveling in and around the area. We appreciate your patience as we work together with residents to provide the best situation possible to everyone as well as the event.
