Informational Notice: Radnor Run - Sunday October 26, 2025
The 48th Annual Radnor Run Event will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025 (there is no scheduled rain date for the event). This event is a 5-mile runner's race, 2-mile trail walk along the Radnor Trail, and a 1-mile timed run. This will be the last year for the Radnor Run, an event that has been a great Main Line tradition for 48 years that benefits the American Lung Association. While many in the community know this annual race for being a beautiful and historical race in our neighborhood, there are many who attend to rally around a loved one who is fighting lung disease or to remember someone who has lost their battle. In addition to the running and walking event, there will be a Health Fair with information on various aspects of health and wellness, including a lung cancer awareness tent on race day. You can register to participate in the event as a runner, walker, or volunteer at www.radnorrun.org. We are offering residents that live along the Radnor Run race course ONE FREE registration - please use the code NEIGHBOR. You can also join us for the Health Fair - no registration required. We hope you will consider joining us!
THE RADNOR RUN WILL INCLUDE ROAD CLOSURES ALONG THE RUNNING RACE COURSE FROM APPROXIMATELY 8:00 AM TO 10:30 AM ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26TH.
The Radnor Police Department, along with the help of community volunteer course marshals, with managing traffic and safety as runners pass through each section of the course. Please take caution and allow extra time for travel. There will be significant traffic delays in the area of the Radnor Township Building.
The race begins at 8:30 AM. Staff, volunteers, and participants will arrive earlier at the Radnor Township Building for set up and preparations. We estimate that the races should be over by 10:30 AM and all event activities to be completed by approximately 12:00 PM. We are expecting over 500 participants in the Radnor Run this year.
