The Parks & Recreation Department is made up of 4 full time and 1 part time staff members as well as over 200 seasonal, contracted staff members, and seasonal volunteers.
Tammy Cohen
Director of Parks & Recreation
Tammy Cohen has been with the department since 1999 where she previously held the role of Program Coordinator. Tammy has spent her entire career dedicated to the residents of Radnor Township, working to improve the quality of life services they take pride in and enjoy.
Tammy earned her M.Ed. in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Rosemont College. While at Temple University, Tammy earned the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management's Ed Snider Sports Leadership and Excellence Award for accomplishments in both the classroom and in the community.
Her heart is devoted to furthering the Parks & Recreation Department's success by continuing to provide endless recreational opportunities and benefits for residents.
Bekir Altunbas
Program Supervisor
Bekir Altunbas holds a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management and an M.S. in Sport Business, both from Temple University. He has worked in both collegiate and professional sports with Temple University Football and Madison Square Garden. His master’s thesis focused on the expansion of sports leagues and strategies to increase engagement with new leagues, reflecting his interest in growing participation and connection through recreation. This is his third township position, having previously worked in Middletown Township and Upper Gwynedd Township. His passion is delivering meaningful experiences to families and creating memories that last a lifetime. In his free time, Bekir enjoys following Philadelphia sports, exploring outdoor trails, and visiting new parks.
Tracey Krum
Program Coordinator
Tracey has a B.S. in Recreation Park and Tourism Management from The Pennsylvania State University. She went into the community recreation field because she discovered she has a passion for creating memorable moments for people through programming and events. In her free time Tracey enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible. Baking, cooking, and being crafty are some of her favorite activities. Tracey loves coming up with arts and crafts activities for everyone to participate in. Her hope in the position of Program Coordinator is to learn as much as she can and to help make Radnor programs and events amazing year after year.
Natalie Miscioscia
Program Coordinator
Natalie has a B.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management from Penn State University. She focused on Commercial and Community Recreation Programming due to her love for recreational entertainment and events. In her free time she enjoys finding new trails to hike, watching Penn State football, spending time at Ocean City, NJ, and getting together with family and friends.
Christina Rios
Recreation Assistant
Christina has a B.S in Sports Management from PennWest California with a concentration in Health and Wellness. She holds a National Board Certification in Health and Wellness coaching and a Lifestyle Medicine coaching certification from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. As a coach Christina spent her entire career helping others live a healthier life through physical activity, healthy nutrition, positive social connections, and stress management. Her love of the outdoors, and the incredible benefits it has on improving peoples health is what drew her to joining the Parks and Recreation department at Radnor Township. Her mission in her position is to assist her team in facilitating nature and sports activities for all.
