The Radnor Township Community Grant Program is a new initiative established by the Radnor Township Board of Commissioners (BOC) beginning in 2027 to provide discretionary grant support to local nonprofit organizations. The program funds high-impact, community-based initiatives, programs, and projects that enhance the quality of life for Radnor residents.
Historically, Radnor Township provided operational funding to select community organizations without a clear process or formal criteria explaining why certain groups received funding. This program was established to create:
- A clear definition of funding eligibility and process.
- A transparent, fixed funding amount included in the annual budget.
- Equitable funding opportunities for new and diverse qualifying nonprofits that serve Radnor.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for a grant, an applicant organization must:
- Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing with federal and state requirements.
- Be based in Radnor Township (office location and/or registered mailing address).
- Provide the majority (more than 50%) of its programming and services for the direct benefit of Radnor residents.
- Demonstrate the organizational capacity to complete the proposed project.
