On Saturday, September 19, 2026, our Vietnam Veterans will return from their Day of Honor in Washington, D.C., where they will visit the memorials dedicated to their service and sacrifice.

For many of these men and women, returning home from Vietnam meant arriving without the cheers, gratitude, and recognition they deserved. Some were never properly thanked for their service.

On September 19, we have an opportunity to change that. We want our veterans to arrive to a crowd filled with American flags, applause, smiling faces, and a heartfelt message they have waited more than 50 years to hear:

“WELCOME HOME, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE.”

Families, children, veterans, first responders, community organizations, and residents of all ages are welcome to give our Vietnam Veterans the Welcome Home they always deserved.
