Second Town Hall Meeting: Proposed Magisterial District Court at 405 W. Wayne Ave.

Post Date:07/31/2026 6:00 PM

Radnor Township, in partnership with Delaware County Magisterial District Court 32-2-43, is considering acquiring 405 W. Wayne Avenue. The property is being considered as a new location for the District Justice Court of Judge Sloane Walker, Esq. currently operating at 4655 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square.

The Radnor Township Board of Commissioners invites residents to a second Town Hall meeting to discuss the proposed relocation. To ensure maximum participation from families returning from summer vacation, the meeting will be held at the Radnor Township Municipal Building (301 Iven Avenue) in early September. The exact date and time are being finalized and will be announced shortly.

This forum will give residents an opportunity to learn more about the District Court's operations and ask questions regarding hours, types of cases, parking, housing, and other community matters. Township and county representatives will be present to address your concerns and provide project updates.

Important Details to Note:

  • Required Approvals: For the acquisition of 405 W. Wayne Avenue to proceed, several pieces of legislation must be formally adopted, and multiple public meetings will be held before any physical changes occur.
  • Zoning Compliance: The property at 405 W. Wayne Avenue is already zoned for commercial use. Consequently, relocating the District Court to this space will not require a zoning change.

We encourage all interested residents to attend and participate in this important community discussion. Finalized meeting details will be posted as soon as possible on our website and official Radnor Township social media channels.

We look forward to seeing you there.
