Beginning Monday, April 20, 2026, RFC will be conducting training drills at the former Hamilton property located at Eagle Road and Strafford Avenue in Wayne.

At this location, firefighters are able to train in more realistic scenarios, advancing hose lines up several flights of stairs and conducting searches in the large house.

Here a smoke machine can be used to fill the home with theatrical smoke, which makes for a more realistic environment for the firefighters. And traffic cones can be illuminated with lights to simulate fire in the area.

RFC will continue to use the property for trainings on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 9:00pm, thru early June.
