A 15 year Radnor resident, Rich Booker currently serves as director of tax controversy and state tax planning for a major publicly traded hydrocarbon pipeline partnership. He is responsible for managing tax litigation and directing efforts to mitigate state and federal tax impacts on the partnership, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
Mr. Booker is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and received his J.D. and LL.M. (Taxation) from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University. Prior to joining Sunoco, Mr. Booker was a lawyer at the law firm of Ballard Spahr, LLP in Philadelphia, where he focused his practice on tax exempt bonds and municipal finance.
Mr. Booker has served as president of the Philadelphia Chapter of Tax Executives Institute, Inc., and for the last 5 years, as Chairman of its State and Local Tax Committee. In addition, Mr. Booker serves on the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Tax Committee. Rich was also a former school board director for Radnor Township (2003-2007).
