tennis

Radnor Township has been a proud partner with David Broida in offering tennis programs to our community since 2009!

David has been playing tennis all of his adult life.  During his 32 years as the Upper Merion Township Parks and Recreation Director, he organized one of the only year-round, indoor and outdoor public tennis programs in the nation.  After his time there, he began teaching and coaching tennis players within our local community.

David has also served as the head junior varsity coach, and middle school coach, for both the boys and girls teams at The Shipley School. He has conducted tennis clinics at Vernon Young Park in Ardmore for several summers, volunteered with the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis & Education, and has been conducting tennis clinics and camps on the Main Line for local parks and recreation departments since 2008.  In addition, for the past decade, David has been chaperoning other tennis enthusiasts on our annual US Open Bus Trip.

It is David’s extensive experience and passion for sharing the sport of tennis, with adults and youth alike, that continues to make his tennis programs extremely popular in our community. He and his team of highly qualified tennis instructors look forward to seeing new faces in their program! If you are interested in learning to play, or developing your current skills, please visit www.radnor.com/recreationregistration to learn more and register for a class.

Registration open for both the fall and winter sessions!
