Radnor Day Camp 2020
We continue to plan Radnor Day Camp 2020 in anticipation of several different scenarios that may occur this summer – these include our traditional camp delivery at Radnor Elementary along with various in-person options that may be permitted within a reduced group number of campers, with safe practices and protocols, and at our local parks and/or Radnor Activity Center. In addition, we are evaluating several options that entail a virtual camp delivery. This summer, there may be more than one delivery format available to you with Radnor Day Camp to accommodate the varying comfort levels that parents may have with regards to their children’s experience.
We realize it is very difficult for families to make decisions right now about summer for their children - we here in the Recreation Department are in the same situation in making these decisions for our families. Due to this uncertainty, please rest assured that if camp is modified in any way that would reduce programming and services or cancel camp, applicable refunds will be incorporated. You also will have time up until the day camp begins to make this decision and will not be subject to any refund penalties. You do not have to rush this decision until you feel comfortable and you will still receive a full refund if none of the options work for you.
Our Department staff and camp staff will be hosting two live meetings, one on Monday, May 4th and one on Wednesday, May 6th from 7:00 to approximately 8:00 PM for our camp families to discuss the various camp options that may be available this summer and to provide engagement. Please click here to sign up (this is free) to attend one of our two meetings - we just want to have an idea of how many families will be attending so we can prepare.
