In line with the Township’s primary goal of doing its part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus and protect the health of our residents, effective March 19, 2020, all Radnor Township Playgrounds, Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts, Basketball Courts, and Pavilions are CLOSED until further notice. This includes all park restrooms and water fountains which remain closed from the winter season.
As we learn more about this virus and how quickly it can spread, allowing places where kids and parents congregate to remain open works against our primary goal and the guidance of Local, State and Federal health recommendations. We hope that families looking to get outdoors and stay physically active will take advantage of the Township’s trails and open fields. Provided, however, that we all do our part to use good judgement and prevent the spread of the virus. As a reminder, it is strongly recommended that everyone adhere to the interim guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by maintaining safe social distances and limiting your exposure to germs during the Covid-19 outbreak. Further restrictions include: All dogs must be on a leash in all Township Parks and on Trails and Walking Paths to help prevent the spread of infection to others through our pets. We strongly suggest that you take any trash with you when you depart the park to avoid the spread of infection to others or to our Parks employees. All permitted and organized usage has been restricted until further notice.
We continue to be appreciative for everyone’s understanding during this unprecedented state of emergency. Please sign up alerts and follow Radnor Township’s website and other social media outlets identified below for continuous updates on Township related changes. We wish all Radnor Residents and Businesses the very best in health and wellness. Click here for resources and updated information from Radnor Township on Covid-19.
