Radnor Township is pleased to announce the start of the North Wayne Avenue Pedestrian Safety Project. This project entails the installation of approximately 650 linear feet of sidewalk on North Wayne Avenue, from Woodsworth Court to Eagle Road. The project will provide a safe route for pedestrians along this busily travelled section of North Wayne Avenue. The project includes pedestrian signals at North Wayne Avenue and Eagle Road as well as ADA curb ramps. An added benefit of the project is increased connectivity to downtown Wayne, as there will now be sidewalks from Woodsworth Court to the center of Wayne.
The project duration is approximately 90 days (weather permitting). There will be lane restrictions Monday through Friday. 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Depending on the schedule, there may be intermittent work on Saturdays. Please allow extra travel time if you use this route.
