As part of the Land Development Process for their new facility at 145 King of Prussia Road, Penn Medicine will be installing a Traffic Adaptive Signal System at specific intersections in Radnor Township. Traffic Adaptive control systems work by automatically adapting the timings of traffic lights based on real-time traffic conditions to optimize the flow of traffic. This work will take place over the next few months, as specific intersections are worked on. It is anticipated the system will be fully functioning in the Spring of 2021.
Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. For the week of January 18, work will take place at intersections along the following stretches of roadway:
- Matsonford Road between King of Prussia & County Line Roads (01/18 to 01/22)
- Lancaster Avenue between St. Davids/ Chamounix Roads & Hillside Circle (01/22 to 01/22)
- Radnor Chester Road between Lancaster Avenue & King of Prussia Road (01/18 to 01/22)
Please use caution and allow extra travel time if you travel through these areas.
