The Radnor Township Board of Commissioners awarded a $348,000 contract to construct the Harford Trail to G&B Contractors, Incorporated. The project entails constructing a wood chip trail from an existing path at the Radnor Elementary School to the Township’s Harford Park, also the home of the Creutzberg Center. Along with the trail storm sewer will be constructed as well as trees planted. The trail is being located on an easement granted by Brandywine Realty Trust at the Radnor Corporate Center.
The project is slated to begin on November 30th, with the infrastructure portion of the project lasting approximately six weeks. The planting and seeding will most likely take place in the spring of 2021. Please note that the schedule is weather dependent. Access to the project will be through Harford Park.
