Radnor Township now offers residents a convenient recycling solution that collects used clothing, footwear and electronics collection at your doorstep
The Township of Radnor has made it easier for everyone to declutter their homes by introducing convenient curbside clothing and electronics recycling for all its residents. Partnering with Curb My Clutter, the Township now offers a free service that enables residents to easily schedule collection of their unwanted items via text.
Americans send 85% of their discarded clothing, equaling 27 billion pounds, and 97 billion pounds of electronics to landfills every year according to the US EPA. These valuable natural resources need to be recovered and returned to the circular economy. Radnor Township is dedicated to a sustainable future and committed to providing unique and innovative opportunities to is residents. By offering a convenient solution for harvesting these resources, the Township expects to reduce the amount of waste it pays to landfill and residents can earn valuable rewards for participating.
According to Township Manager Robert Zienkowski “Radnor is committed to bringing services like Curb My Clutter to our residents to improve their lives while minimizing the environmental impact of our community and saving taxpayer dollars associated with waste disposal.”
