Local Police Department(s) are currently investigating a series of emailed bomb threats to businesses in the Philadelphia region. An unknown individual emailed several Philadelphia area businesses threatening to set off an explosive device in their building if the business does not pay a ransom in the form of bitcoin.  Fusion centers nationwide are reporting similar incidents, including centers in New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, and Ohio.

Please report any incidents or threatening message by contacting 9-1-1.
