Recreation & Community Programming

Responsibilities


The Radnor Township Recreation and Community Programming Department is responsible for the administration of year-round recreational programming and community events for all ages and the operation of township facilities. This includes:
  • Parks
  • Radnor Activity Center at Sulpizio Gymnasium
  • Radnor Skatepark
  • The Radnor Trail
  • The Willows Mansion / Cottage
The Department also works in cooperation with the Public Works Department, who directly oversees the coordination of the maintenance of all of these facilities. The department aims to serve the best interest of all residents by offering an array of recreational opportunities and maintaining a secure environment that enhances the quality of life for members of the Radnor Township community.

Interim Department Protocols During COVID-19:

All Radnor Township Park Areas & Trails are currently OPEN and authorized, permitted usage of fields has resumed. 

  • Please continue to practice social distancing when utilizing these areas and avoid crowded areas
  • Do not use the parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms.
  • Per the Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Requiring Universal Face Coverings, individuals are required to wear face coverings if they are outdoors and unable to consistently maintain a distance of six feet from individuals who are not members of their household. 
  • Restrooms are open, but access to water fountains remains closed until further notice.
